The family session below was captured by Claire McLain Photography at Carvers Creek State Park, near Fort Bragg, NC. The session was held on a picturesque Saturday morning with dad, mom, big sister, younger brother (almost one), and the sweet family dog. The family was styled perfectly with shades of blue, white, tan, and green - and a red leash. The older sister donned a white, floppy hat and an adorable smile.

We started the session in the field located at the Long Valley Farm Access area of Carvers Creek in Fayetteville, NC. After getting some great photos of the whole family, the fur baby took a quick nap in the car while we took some additional photos on a walking path alongside the field. I made sure to get some extra pictures of just the younger brother as his first birthday was shortly after the session. The photos from this session were loved by many Claire McLain Photography followers. The followers voted and chose the first photo below to be the featured image on the Claire McLain Family Style Guide.

Photos were shot on the Canon R6 with a 50mm lens. The sky was clear. Photos were shot two to three hours after sunrise. A professional photography permit is required for this location.
