Family Session with Three Boys Under Four in Southern Pines, NC

This family was so much fun! They had three little boys, the youngest of which was just a few months old. It was so sweet to see how much love and attention he got from his parents and big brothers. It was a joy to capture their personalities. This was a morning session in Southern Pines, NC that was shot by Claire McLain Photography.

There were lots of smiles, laughs, and energy during this session. The boys were so happy to be outside running around and playing in the woods with their parents. It's hard to believe that these three little ones will grow up to be such big boys!

One of the best parts about this session is that the parents were so easy going. They had no problem letting their kids be themselves and they were happy to be behind the camera as well!

Photos were shot on the Canon R6 with a 50mm lens. The light was partially clouded which led to a mix of direct sun and overcast. The woods environment did provide addition shading. Lots of following the boys around vs always keeping poses staged for lighting - fun challenge I enjoy with family photography. Photos were shot roughly 2-3 hours after sunrise.
