The first Sunflower Claire McLain Photography session was a huge success at Gillis Hill Farm in Fayetteville, NC. This July session was an evening out between two sisters (and a tag along husband) during a trip. The trio was a young, fun, and upbeat group to capture! We laughed and joked in-between photos, while getting to know one another. These are the types of clients that feel like friends after a session.

After almost being rained out, we ventured through the mud to the field and the multiple props that Gillis Hill Farm sets up for local photographers. There was a picturesque bench, a classic blue truck, a tractor, and a bath tub. We couldn't make the bath tub work for our session - but it was still a cool prop for young children and maternity sessions!

Photos were shot on the Canon R6 with a 50mm lens. The light was mostly overcast with no true golden hour. Photos were shot roughly an hour before sunset.
