Maternity Session in Fayetteville, NC

This morning maternity session began with just the mom-to-be in the Fayetteville, NC Rose Garden for portraits with Claire McLain Photography. We took beautiful photos surrounded by blooming roses and white gazebos as the sun rose. After completing our portraits, dad and daughter joined for a family maternity session.

The daughter is only three years old, but she was so excited to be part of her parents’ pregnancy journey and she can't wait for her new baby brother. She was shy during the beginning of the session, but quickly became more comfortable as we took photos. She is going to be an amazing big sister!

After taking family maternity photos at the Rose Garden, we moved our session to downtown Fayetteville, NC. The mom-to-be also requested some urban photos, so this was a great complimentary location to the Rose Garden. We quickly took some excellent photos before the day became too hot.

Photos were shot on the Canon R6 with a 50mm lens. The light was partially clouded which led to a mix of direct sun and overcast. Photos were shot roughly 2.-3.5 hours after sunrise.
