Morning Family and Pregnancy Announcement Session

When it comes to announcing a pregnancy, some families may want to keep the news private for a while. But for those who would like to share the exciting news with their close friends and family, we created this morning family & pregnancy announcement session. It was shot in Hope Mills, NC (right outside Fayetteville, NC) with Claire McLain Photography.

The session was held in a grassy field with lots of light colors and smiles. We took photos of mom, dad, and son - with baby girl appearing on the ultrasound photos. Mom hand embroidered her son's "Big Brother" shirt and found the toddler-sized baby wearer for his stuffed animal. Mom's creativity and attention to detail was impressive. The photos were sent to friends and family, shared on social media, and printed for keepsakes.

Photos were shot on the Canon R6 with a 50mm lens. The light was mostly direct with a few clouds. Photos were shot roughly 1.5-2 hours after sunrise. The lighting did change extremely from the beginning of the session to the end.
